According to the Washington Times, ALL of the agenda has been scrubbed from the Change.gov website, and has been replaced with the following paragraph:
That's it. Gone are the separate web pages for each of 25 different agenda issues. And as we know, at lease one of those pages had been edited before they were all taken down.President-Elect Obama and Vice President-Elect Biden have developed innovative approaches to challenge the status quo in Washington and to bring about the kind of change America needs.
The Obama Administration has a comprehensive and detailed agenda to carry out its policies. The principal priorities of the Obama Administration include: a plan to revive the economy, to fix our health care, education, and social security systems, to define a clear path to energy independence, to end the war in Iraq responsibly and finish our mission in Afghanistan, and to work with our allies to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, among many other domestic and foreign policy objectives.
This prompts a few questions...
1. which of the propeller beanie wearing policy geeks over there is running that monkey house?
2. do they really think they are fooling anybody besides Chris Matthews and the MSNBC news department?
3. has it finally occurred to somebody on the transition team that maybe they set the bar too high even for themselves to get over it?
4. do they really think they are fooling anybody besides Chris Matthews and the MSNBC news department?
5. what are they hiding?
6. do they really think they are fooling anybody besides Chris Matthews and the MSNBC news department?
I could go on... but seriously, do they think that nobody notices this stuff? And he's going to "lead" us? God help all of us.
