*Forum rules violations*

Post by Sodbuster »

I owe an apology to the good folks here and most especially to those in the official capacities of keeping the sanity and the order on the site. Also, many thanks to those with the wisdom and courage to state the whys and wherefores regarding the rules. *Uppity* was an out of bounds knee-jerk reaction to my post being subjected to a simple rule. I learned back in kindergarten to obey the rules or suffer the consequences. I have a slight backside, so I don't need anything hitting it on my way out anywhere. I'll just add to the forum what I can when I can, and when the time comes I've posted enough, I'll put that (-----------) back up for sale again and someone'll get a heck of a deal. :tiphat:

" Main Entry: up·pi·ty
Pronunciation: \ˈə-pə-tē\
Function: adjective
Etymology: probably from up + -ity (as in persnickity, variant of persnickety)
Date: 1880
: putting on or marked by airs of superiority : arrogant , presumptuous <uppity technicians> <a small uppity country>
— up·pi·ti·ness also up·pi·ty·ness noun "

The above is the definition of the "u" word per Merriam-Webster on line. What did I miss...huh, huh? :headscratch

Sodbuster - welcome aboard!

I think we have all made a few posts on the forum that we later regretted. Your apology accepted and appreciated.
