WTB Polish P64

Post by philbo »

WTB a Polish P64, 9x18 makarov. Been eyeing them on J&G, would like to find one local if possible. Thought I'd see if someone has one they're not using.

This is the pistol. Cheap enough to order, but thought someone might have one locally.

My original thought was, P64 Polish, as in brass polish.

Try Military Gun Supply in Ft. Worth.I got one from them a few years ago. I will warn you though, You better have some strong fingers as the trigger is very heavy.

the p64 is a very nice carry gun, you'll like it

the trigger only comes into play if you lower the hammer after charging, in single action they are good.

I bought two P-64s a couple of weeks ago from MCS Firearms and they are wonderful shooters - basically brand-new 35 year old guns. Unfortunately, the supply has pretty much dried up now. I've only seen them in person locally at a gunshow and they were horribly overpriced. Better get one from J&G while you can. The double action trigger is the worst I've ever encountered but you can replace the springs to make it a little easier. It's got a real snappy recoil even though it is all steel - but that makes it fun to shoot!
