I saw this message in my Inbox: "One private message has been removed due to private message filters."
What does this mean?
I don't have any private message filters or "foes."
(I tried Google.)

Re: Private message deleted?
Probably spam and the user was removed.

Re: Private message deleted?
or you've gotten too many messages, or the message was too old? I don't know, but maybe
FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.
Re: Private message deleted?
My Inbox is full, has been for a long time. The oldest message is deleted when I receive a new one.
It could have been the sender was "killed."

Re: Private message deleted?
Jim, I have no idea what that means. There are no global filters set for PMs, so my guess it that it must have something to do with your full message box, but that's only a guess. I did have to delete about 3 spam bots that registered before the new anti-bot question mod was added, but waited until the last couple of days to post. However, to my knowledge, none of the bots have sent PMs, they only post spam in the open forum.
I'll poke around on phpBB to see if I can find something. I probably won't be able to do that for a week or so.
Chas.

Charles, please don't trouble yourself about it.
If anyone sent me a PM that I didn't respond to, please resend it, or e-mail me at seamusTX@comcast.net.
