My wife wants me to take her dancing (ugh...) Anyway, she wants to go to Billy Bob's. I found an old post from a couple of years ago, and I searched Texas3006.com, but I cannot tell for sure. Does anyone know if Billy Bob's is 51% or 30.06, or off limits for any other reasons?

LOL. I knew Billy Bob in college. He was nearly always over 51% after practice.

Well the reason I ask is that they sell concert tickets, all kinds of souvenirs, food, etc. So it is entirely possible that they're not 51%, but I just would like to know for sure.

You might want to call them. From their website it looks like they are a 51% place.

Billy Bob's has a CB,LB, and PE license. I don't know what those mean, but there ya go.

CB = catering (off premesis)
LB = late beverage (until 2 am)
PE = "cartage" (transport)

It would be nice if the online license search indicated if a license was 51%. I don't know why that's not considered a public record.

they don't have a FB (food & beverage) which, i believe, is an indicator that they are prolly 51%

CaptMatt: yes, this is something that our good friend Steve Rothstein has mentioned. IIRC, it is "in the works" so to speak...

facing West towards Main Street.
