Tom Coburn drilling EricHolder

Post by atbarr »

Hello people, this is my first post. I was born and raised in the Dallas area. My ex company moved me to KY in '93. Anyway I hope that you have been able to watch the Eric Holder confirmation. Several Senators have asked some questions about the 2A. But Senator Tom Coburn (OK), really asked some hard questions. He ran out of time to ask the two (IMO) real questions. 1) Do I have the right to defend myself, if my home is broken into. And 2) what are his thoughts about a person having a concealed carry license.

I called Tom Coburn's office in DC, and first asked the person to tell Senator Coburn, I was proud, how he had Eric Holder squirming.

I then asked that person to ask Senator Coburn to ask Holder his thoughts on personal protection and CCW.

If you have a chance, please call Senator Coburn at 202-224-5754 and express your opinions.

Stay Safe,

A.T.

Welcome to the forum atbarr. Good information. We will be in for a tough battle to keep from losing ground on our 2A rights this next four to eight years. We need to do all we can to make our voices heard. :thumbs2:

I saw a few seconds of Sen. Coburn's questions to Holder. Holder was indeed squirming. Now I'm no expert on body language, but squirming when you're asked a question can't be a good thing. After not being able to reach either Sen. Cornyn's office or Sen. Hutchinson's office by phone, I e-mailed them and expressed concerns about Holder's nomination.
