87 Days to approval

Post by AJKAHR »

I submitted all paperwork on 3/17, just saw on the website today that the license was approved. That's 87 days. We'll see how long it takes until I get the ID...

Congratulations, AJKAHR! Welcome to our little group of campers. You know, we're camped out by the mailbox waiting for our CHL to arrive.

85 Days to receive my renewal.

Had to send them a copy of my passport or it would have been quicker.

Received my CHL on Wednesday 6/14. 93 days from app originally being signed for in Austin, and 43 days from TR-100 being signed for after returning it to me because I forgot to sign the thing.

I cannot carry at work, because I work on a prison facility, but I have been packing while running some errands of the evenings. I have to keep reminding myself that everyone does not know that I'm armed.

Weird feeling at first, then it just becomes part of your dress.

Hell, I've been doing the walk all week waiting for my Galco M7X and the calf strap for my ankle holster.

92 days from their receipt until issue, with no apparent reason for the delay. Mail took another 7 to arrive.
