A woman was called in front of a Texas grand jury for manslaughter after she shot a mugger 6 times in the
back as he was running away with her purse.
He grabbed the purse and ran, she had her hand on the gun in it, and was left with the revolver in her hand.
When asked by the grand jury why she shot the man 6 times in the back as he was running away, she replied under oath:
"Because when I pulled the trigger the 7th time it only went click"

The record shows that she hit him 6 out of 6.

Perfect grouping on a moving target too

It's amusing either way, but it's even funnier if it's the truth.

On or about 3/1/09, in Fort Worth, 65 year old Ms. Val Renfro was leaving an
Office Depot on Eastchase Parkway. A 47 year old dirtbag knocked
her down and grabbed her purse, then started to make his getaway on foot.
She keeps her cell phone in her bra for just such an occasion. She
dialed 911, then hopped into her silver Buick Park Avenue and
stared chasing the perp. She caught up to him and through the
open window she said "Where's my purse? Give me my purse before I
run you over."
He didn't give her the purse. She rammed him with the Buick and
knocked him down. 6 or 7 pedestrian citizens who were running after
the 2 of them surrounded the perp until FW's finest could get him into
cuffs.
I assume that she was justified under Texas law with using deadly force,
her Buick, to stop this guy. Usually when we think about the ability to
stop a thief with deadly force, we are thinking of our sidearm.
Don't mess with Texas women!

55 times more people died from a bad heart than from being shot.
What we really REALLY need is heart control.
