Holster for Baby Eagle Compact Polymer

Post by dleewo »

I have a Uzi Baby Eagle Compact Polymer handgun (IMI stamped). Assuming I'm measuring it correctly, it has a 3.5" barrel length. It was called Uzi when I got it several years ago, but it's the same as the Jericho 941 and the Magnum Research baby eagle.

I'm trying to find a holster for concealed carry, but anywhere that has pre-made ones don't cater for my gun. I did find two places that say they can custom make one for me (Tucker Gun Leather and Horseshoe Leather Products), but their lead times are 6 weeks and 18 weeks respectively. Worse case, I would get one from them, but in the case of the latter, I would hate to wait 18 weeks and find that it doesn't quite fit my gun or it's comfortable.

I was wondering though if my gun would fit in a holster designed for a different gun and if so, what make and model is the same size as my baby eagle.

Or, if anyone has the same gun, what holster do you use?

I'm looking for either an IWB or a SOB holster.

You may find some help here: http://www.czforumsite.info/index.php?topic=8258.0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This is the CZforum page for clones, which the Baby Eagle is. I have an EAA Witness compact and I have gotten lots of good info from this forum. I don't carry the EAA, so I don't need a holster.

Good luck, OE

Comp Tac should be able to make one for you.

Well, being unable to find a holster, I decided to make my own...custom made for my gun. Here are some photos:

Very interesting - haven't seen a DIY Kydex before. How's the retention?

I have the same pistol in steel for my wife. Love the gun, but pretty heavy for CCW. Just bought a Comp-Tac Minotaur Spartan for my Walther PPS, but am still waiting on the CHL (and a better belt). How do you like the polymer Baby Eagle?
I'll quit carrying a gun when they make murder and armed robbery illegal

The retention is great. I can hold it upside down and the gun stays put. It does fall out, but it takes quite a bit of shaking to make that happen.

I tired to document how I made it with lots of pictures here:

I'm quite happy with the gun, but I'm no expert by any means and it's the only gun I own. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's hard to find accessories thus the reason I ended up making my own holster
