Well I thought this day would never come, got the seven words I've been waiting to see "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active" today!! 95 Days, which seems more like 2 years. I should have called dps after 60, but I just wanted to see how long it would take if I just kept my mouth shut and let the system do its job. Little longer than some but it is on the way never the less. Now just need to find a good holster for my g23. Time to go celebrate with a cold one..

Congrats! It took me 90 days or so to get mine... so I know how you feel!
Drink that beer now cause when you get that license I bet you find yourself drinking a lot less... at least it had that effect on me. I'm always the designated driver now. Ha! If you only knew me... that is so out of character!

so does anyone know about how long it takes from when they mark your app as completed to when I have the plastic in my hand? It was completed on friday and now tuesdays mail came and still no plastic. Maybe I'm a little impatient but dang I thought it would of been here by now.

Oh well Ive come this far whats a little longer gonna hurt.

Should be only about four or five days, week at most. You'll probably have it by this weekend.

I think the state would call that 67 days (04/03/2009 - 01/26/3009). That is still encouraging!

I received mine roughly four days after I saw the "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active" statement on the internet. That was also the week of Thanksgiving so they were really on the ball.

That was roughly the same amount of time it took to recieve mine. Just got it in the mail today, overall the whole process went smooth. Hearing everyones horror stories I didnt know what to expect, but I think mine was completed in a timely manner. Good luck to everyone else thats waiting.
