Nullification reconsidered by Clyde Wilson

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Nullification reconsidered by Clyde Wilson

Post by Doug.38PR »

I have been saying this all along. Push our states to nullify unconstitutional acts like Pelosi or Clinton or Obama gun bans

Excellent article by Dr. Clyde Wilson.

Meanwhile, promoters of 10th Amendment resolutions need to understand that the 10th Amendment does not enforce itself. Nor will it ever be recognized by any of the three branches of the central apparatus or existing political parties. It will have to be enforced by the people of the States whose freedom it was intended to protect.
His final remark ^ needs to be stressed to everyone. Many states are already passing such resolutions...but these things can't be just Joe Repblicrat talking big and then when the gun ban passes conveniently forget your promise to stand firm.

Personally, I think things have been that wacked out for a long time....but nullification is effective in just saying "no" as Nancy Reagan used to say. "just say no, to illegal laws" :txflag:
