Cause it's a lot more comfortable than strapping on an IWB holster...

I grew up in Colorado, where open carry is legal too. It just isn't commonly done, at least not like in Arizona. I remember as a little kid seeing this old guy who looked like the quintessential 'mountain man' carrying his Beretta openly in the Conifer, CO Safeway store. Nobody ever gave him any trouble. However, there is one of those laws saying that you can't carry or display a firearm in a manner that causes alarm. The way I read it, if the liberal perusing the lettuce is disturbed and calls the cops, you're probably going to have a problem.
I could go either way on open carry in TX. It'd sure be nice in the summer to have it out there on the belt in the open, but I like the element of surprise! ;-)
Anyway, anyone who carries his Glock openly in Starbucks is my friend!

I used to live in UT and enjoyed open carry on a somewhat regular basis. I prefer concealed, but it's nice to have options. :patriot:

I don't think it would scare me, and by the standards of this board, I am a liberal. However, I might be stupid.
