How do you carry your pocket pistol?

I carry mine in my purse.

Way to succinctly stick it to all us macho guys who don't even think of such things!

Of course, I gotta ask - in which pocket of your purse do you carry it? I know when I go to find something in my wife's purse, it's a black hole in there.

Above is all in good joking fun, but seriously, I am interested, do you use a special purse designed to hold a handgun or just put it in whatever purse you're using? And what kind(s) of gun(s)?

I have purses designed specifically for carry and I have off the shelf purses with multiple compartments to which I assign one exclusively for my gun. Both work well for me.

My answer to Keith B my favorite right now is a Fossil brand purse. I don't like Gucci. They are too big!

I think my wife says there is no such thing as a purse that is too big.

Just recently ordered and received a pocket holster fm DM Bullard (dmbullardleather.com) for my Kahr PM9. It took about 2 weeks and I ordered the holster and magazine holder combo. I carry it in my left front pocket and it is very easy to draw from. I highly recommend him...

LOL now my wife is interested. Looking for a 9mm want a Kahr PM9 but looking at Kel Tec PF9 or P11 due to cost. Are these too big for pocket holsters? Thanks for the links! Was looking at the Ruger LCP but almost same price can get a 9mm & just a tad larger. Whas everyone's thoughts?

Kahr PM series is not just a "tad" larger than an LCP ... it's a significant difference. I have pocket carried both, and with tight jeans or even some tighter fitting Dockers, the Kahr prints quite noticeably. With a good pocket holster with anti-print panel, the LCP could just be a wallet or I-Phone or whatever.

My favorite purse is off the shelf 3"d X 6"w X 7.5"h. I can get my M&P 9c or my Kimber Ultra carry in it just fine. Holster purses come in all sizes to accommodate what ever size gun your wife would like to carry. Galco has a great collection of them. Coronado is another quality purse.

As far as pocket guns go - I think you should get the biggest gun you are willing to carry and fits your method of carry and concealment.

My Taurus Millenium is probably considered by most folks to
be larger than a "pocket pistol" but due to required clothing on
the job, I do right front pocket carry during work hours. Well-fitting
shirts that must be tucked into the pants do not lend themselves to IWB or
OWB holsters that still result in easy gun access. Plus I work with this idiot
gal who occasionally hugs me for no reason and if the gun was near my waist,
she could possibly feel the pistol.

I use a soft velvety feel navy blue "Uncle Mike's" pocket holster. Even though
I tend to think my PT-111 is printing, I have never been made by anyone
and the gun is available for easy draw. Most people are too busy thinking about
themselves to be able to focus on my pocket. If I do happen to be standing in one
place talking to someone, I simply put my right hand in the right front pocket to
completely eliminate the hard print of the pistol.

When I am off work and can wear shirts that do not have to be tucked in,
I use a little leather Galco holster, model STO444. I use it IWB, cross
draw, at 11 o'clock. I find that this puts the grip in a natural position for me
to draw. Since this conceals so easily I feel good that in the future I can move
up to a bigger gun and still be able to conceal it OK. Maybe there's a 1911 in
my future?

If I wear the Galco IWB at 4-5 o'clock, the draw is more awkward.

I am planning on getting another slimline holster for OWB use at 4 o'clock.
The aim is to bring the gun to my strong (right hand) side, at an easy drawing
angle, and to get away from the occasional pinches and sweat on the gun that
an IWB rig results in.

The back side is very rough and it stays in the pocket when I draw. My little NAA 22mag makes for a nice bug...

I can strongly recommend the Bianchi Model 82 beltslide OWB hoslter for this very purpose. I found one used on eBay for my Glock 23 and love it. The little retention lever works extremely well and is very intuitive - much better than a thumb-snap leather retention loop, IMHO.

This looks like it will fit the bill for me. I have printed off the page
and was pleased to find they specifically have one for my PT-111 Taurus.

Plus the tip on buying it used on Ebay should save me some cash also.
