mount an AK47 holster to a Ninja 750

Post by lunchbox »

I know it is very common place for folks to carry an AR or AK or what have you in their car or truck I did the same thing for years. My situation has since changed I now ride a 1989 ninja 750R and would still like to carry my AK what I am looking for is if someone knows of a rifle bag/ backpack (as i do need to carry other things as well) that doesn't look like I am caring around a rifle or some sort of scabbard that i can mount that is again discrete and can lock in some way

Any ideas

A bag made for baseball gear might work.

I have heard of people carrying in a tennis racket case or guitar case. Never tried it myself though.

Too rich for my blood. The $20 sporting goods bags work good enough.

OK - this may sound even dumber, and that I am just plain oblivious on this -- but why would you want to carry an AR or AK around (especially on a bike)? If you are going to the range that would be one thing, but if you are carrying the rifle in case the zombies come looking for you... I am just asking why because I don't understand. Couldn't zipping around on a fast bike with a (loaded??) AR or AK (EBR!) get you cuffed and stuffed if discovered?

One may wish to carry the gun to a friends house, gun store, the range (as mentioned), for defensive purposes, ect. There is no law prohibiting the carry of long guns: open or concealed, Loaded or empty, and so forth in Texas so there is little chance of arrest. He probably wants something to carry it in to avoid a disorderly conduct charge that could possibly be thrown at him by an officer.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

For what? He should be fine as long as he obeys the traffic laws on his 20 year old bike.

It's not like he's carrying a concealed bible or koran.

Same here but it is specifically made for the intended purpose and tooling around on a motorcycle isn't the time to discover the stiching on a sports bag is not as good as you wished.

Personally I use a umbrella chair bag...but I do drool over the Sneaky Bag...someday...
