Need to change DL, don't want to

Post by Shorts »

The last three months since CHL app has been submitted, we've moved and we need to change our DL. Frankly I don't want to...."Processing Application" on CHL...still  (I said " I don't want to", NOT "I'm not going to" - no lectures please...just venting)

Should I wait a little longer to see if I get CHL in hand or should I get that info submitted now? The DL is easy, do it online. But the CHL...uhhgg...I'm not really sure how to do that but I can't do it online.

How do I do this. I'm not looking forward to waiting even longer for my CHL.

I had to do this with my initial app - do it now. It doesn't delay it any longer and it saves you the address change fee.

No wonder the process is takes so long

Original email to DHL:
We just moved and I need to change my home address on my CHL packet. (I will change my Driver's License online immediately after I send this email to you).

What do I need to do in order to complete this process? My CHL packet is currently in the "Processing Application" phase.

Thank you,

Maybe you should log on with PIN and see if you can change your address on line. When I moved from one county to the next, that's how my wife and I changed the addresses on our CHLs and DLs both... didn't have to go to the DPS driver's license branc or mail in anything. Of course we already had our CHLs, but maybe you can update your application on line...

Already tried. I receive the message that I must submit in writing with the proper form because my app is still in processing. Only completed CHLs can be done online.

I think so. I have received no reply to the second email I sent reiterating my request. I feel like submitting the same email 10 times a day out of spite :evil2: ...I said "I feel", not I will :biggrinjester:
