Men & Women Serving Overseas

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Men & Women Serving Overseas

Post by gemini »

I have just learned that a good family friend was injured in a IED incident this
morning. He has shrapnel wounds and damage to his lower body. This is his
3rd tour in Iraq. If you would please include our service men and women, their
safety, healing for those injured, and the families and friends here at home in
your prayers, it would be much appreciated.
GOD BLESS AMERICA.

I pray every day for our military men and women overseas, but I just said a special prayer for this particular brave man. Third tour? Above and beyond by anyone's definition. Hero. Plain and simple.

Thank you for sharing this with us and please let the family know we are all pulling for him.

I pray for our service men and women, also, but I will say a special prayer for your friend and his family.

Thank you for allowing us the privilege to pray for your friend.

Prayers from here also. May God bless and keep this young man and his family, and continue to protect those who are still on the front lines.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

Our friend had surgery yesterday. He has feeling and can move his toes. The other men in his unit
will recover too. Moving them to Germany then home. This will be his second Purple Heart. He will
not be returning to Iraq. Thanks to all who took the time from their daily lives to pray for these men
and women. Thank you.

Just a quick update. Our friend is back in San Antonio for healing and rehab. He
is based out of Ft Hood. Things are looking better everyday. Thanks again to
all that remembered him in their prayers. Have a good 4th!
