Kansas City, Kansas, yesterday evening, two men armed with long guns entered a convenience store. One of the men fired a shot. The clerk then produced a handgun and shot both robbers, one fatally and one critically.
The clerk was not seriously injured.

A recent study by the New York Times of NYPD crime logs showed it's due to three primary interacting factors: the intense heat of summer, drugs and alcohol. Can't think of any reason offhand things would be any different in Kansas City outside of the fact KS has better BBQ.“It’s been a very busy week,” Golden said. “We don’t have an answer for why.”
