AZ: Man reports drive-by shooting for bumped leg

A man in Surprise, Arizona (Phoenix area) called 911 on June 26 to report that he had been hit by a shot from a drive-by shooting.

After extensive investigation, police determined that the man had bumped his leg on a table.

He has been charged with making a false report.

What do people think about? He ought to be charged for the manhours spent to figure out he bumped into a table!
