Well, they oughtta let somebody dig it up cause you
know how lead is dangeous to the environment.

It's probably contributing to global warming...

Hey, it might be worth it to go at 'em from that
liberal hippy viewpoint...unless of course you
think they may kick you out over it :waiting:

I work with a guy that just joined that club. If I knew that I would be around for a year, I would join it too. It sounds like a great place to shoot, and getting the lead whenever you want is fantastic, as I haven't had any luck getting wheel weights yet.

I have been sold on casting my own for a long time.
I buy foundry lead in 4/6/90 mix and add nothing else to it, do not even have to flux it most of the time.
I cast 11 calibers for pistol and rifle.
My pots and molds have paid for themselves many times over, not to mention all the fun I have doing it.

My setup?
Lee 10# bottom pots (3)
Lee 2 hole and 6 hole molds (20 or so)
Lee sizer dies on a Lee breechlock press
I use a homemade lanolin and alcohol lube for sizing, why waste the alox for sizing?
I final lube with LLA (don't you just love the smell?)
I cast from 90g to 300g bullets, as many as possible using TL style molds

Yes it is time consuming. There is nothing worth watching on TV these days anyway - it's all garbage!
