I personally have 3 cars that I drive on a rotating basis, more or less. 2 of them see about 5000 miles a year, maybe less.
I also have a spotless driving record, both for citations and claims. High credit score, no young drivers in the house, etc.
I'm about as low a risk as there is.
So I'm actively shopping for usage-based coverage at a price that reflects the small risk I pose.

Some of my insurance is currently with Progressive, but I'll never take a monitoring device.
It's not necessary. Every year my state inspection station records the mileage on an official document.
All they need to require is a photocopy of the annual inspection report.

And no, I don't use loyalty cards either. I shop at stores that do not require them, and avoid those that do.
