Missing Officer (Houston area)

Post by boomerang »

If you drive the Houston freeways, you may have seen the messages on the signs yesterday and today about the green F250 and the missing peace officer. Here's some more information.

A Katy Independent School District officer and his estranged girlfriend, whom he is suspected of abducting, are holed up in a vacant house in this Waller County city and appear to be in good health, officials said late this afternoon.

Police have been negotiating with Trey Reyes, 38, since about 2 p.m. today. He his accused of kidnapping Rachel Hillsman, 24, also a Katy ISD police officer, on Tuesday.

Police are searching for a young Waller County woman and her alleged kidnapper. Both happen to be Katy ISD police officers who dated each other and have a child together. Their relationship had gone sour, and investigators believe the suspect may have been unwilling to part ways.

The victim's life may be danger. Her blood was found in her vehicle, according to police reports, and investigators consider the suspect armed and dangerous.
Prayers wouldn't be a bad idea, especially for the children.
