How long for PIN number?
My packet was received a month ago and I emailed them today to get my PIN and they say that I am still not in the system. How long did it take for ya'll to get your PIN number?

July 17th- CHL Class
July 22nd- Paperwork Mailed, return receipt Requested
July 24th-Paperwork received at DPS
September 23rd-Received PIN
September 23rd-Processing Application
October 8th- STILL WAITING
11/02/09- License Issued
11/06/09- Plastic in Hand

it took me 5 weeks to get it in the mail .
however , i e-mailed them at 4 weeks and got it the next day via e-mail .

3 weeks from USPS return receipt until PIN letter in the mail from DPS.

I also received my pin via USPS 3 weeks after DPS received packet.
