Sorry for the delay in report. Been busy as every one else. We talked about the Don Hume 721OT. When I talked to them the Service rep said their modle would fit the 9mm only on the Taurus 24-7. I am not their Rep & Taurus semis are not my specialty either but & think the 9mm & .40S&W are the same frame & barrel stock w/ different bore. Said they did not have one that would fit the .45 for the Vet. Delivery date would be 10-12 weeks.
Taked to US Galco. Looked at the Combat Master & both guys liked it. They had a Lefty for the Dad ready to ship & could give a date on the Right hand for the Vet son.
Dad has his & is tickled & thankful. Right hand Vet son will have his in about 15 more days.
Dont remember which of you started that but thank you to all for helping a couple of guys that are doing good work in a really depressed economy here.
