Utah Permit to Cover Additional States

Post by cjlandry »

I see there's a list of certified firearms instructors in Texas for a Utah permit on Utah's DPS site. http://bci.utah.gov/CFP/insoutstate.pdf

Does anyone recommend any of these instructors? (Texas is on page 6)

I live in Corpus Christi, so I'd have to make a bit of a drive to get instruction from any of these guys.

I want a Utah CFP to cover many states that don't have reciprocity with Texas.

I wonder if any of them frequent this forum?

Yes, at current count, you'll get 4 more states (AL, WA, OH, MN)

4 is good. Alabama and Washington are my primary concerns. I don't think I'll be traveling to Minnesota or Ohio any time soon, but you never know.

I teach the Utah CHL course in the DFW area when I get enough people who want to take it to justify a class.

Email me if interested.
