I must say something good..

Post by javieljb »

My first post.
Since most of us don't do this, I just wanted to point something out.

I have called twice and emailed twice to check on my status. I was amazed to get a real person on the phone both times I called and they were able to check in the system and give me a status. Both people were very nice and treated me very well. I was even amazed to get replies back from both of my emails ('bout a 10 days after I sent my question.) Again, very good, short, and nice emails about my status.

I must say that, in this day of phone automation, I must praise the CHLS because they have continued to put real people on the phone and have treated my nicely. I'm sure they are very stressed due to the number of applicants and people emailing and calling in, yet they didn't show it. I would like the process to be much faster, but i want that from most everything else also.

Another reason why I love TEXAS!!

Hi javieljb! Welcome to the forum! :tiphat:

Yes, the CHL division is under tremendous stress. I take my hat off to them as well for doing as good a job they can under the circumstances.

Welcome!!

I must agree with you. The one time I called, I had the same experience as you. I think they're doing a decent job under the circumstances!

Well, I don't want to call or email. Afraid I might jinx the process. So I am just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best! But then Christmas is not that far away! "rlol"
