Good news today, got my 5 year non-resident license from pennsylvania. I applied for it on 8-15 and recieved it today. My Texas license expires in oct. so I thought I had better get it. Dan

Thanks , I filled out there application. 1 sheet. sent them a copy of my Dl. and chl. and a self addressed stamped envelope. They do a back ground check and then send you the license. Regards Dan

Wow, talk about simplicity! That's the way it SHOULD be done. States honoring other States CHL's and making it easy for holders in the other State to get theirs. My hats off to them. :tiphat: They have earned my respect.

I'd wait 2 years, so you have a nice overlap, rather than them both expiring around the same time.

I have a Utah that overlaps a good couple o' years.

only downside to the Pa License, is it doesn't have a nice purdy picture on it! :cryin
