Just curious (not paranoid), about the waiting time to receive plastic in the mail. Do you have yours? When did you get it? Reason I ask this is it appears that some things changed Sept 1 (yes I know)...I am just curious as if they are placing approved but waiting now to mail with printer time (as someone had suggested) to reduce phone calls.
For myself, I received an email this Monday Aug 31st that I was approved and the license would mail that day. I also received a phone call from DPS the following day stating that my license was mailed the previous day and I should receive it in one to two weeks (yikes). These communications to me were received without me originating anything (they looked me up and called me vs me calling or emailing). I live in Dallas and have not received my license (mailing to my place of business).
Regards all, and hopefully a short wait!

And with Monday a holiday maybe, just maybe I'll have it next Saturday. Do my Wally Walk on the busiest day of the week
And with Monday a holiday maybe, just maybe I'll have it next Saturday. Do my Wally Walk on the busiest day of the week 'cause whatever day it arrives I'm on the way within 5 minutes. Boy, it's great to be retired. I just told Mrs Myron it was in the mail and she told me I was going to Wally Mart alone the first time. She didn't want to be around when my gun falls out of my waist band or it pulls my shorts down around my knees

And Mrs Myron knows I got my CHL for 2 reasons. #1 to protect her. #2 to protect me. In that order. Anyone else that get's protected or defended will be a side benefit but if Mrs Myron or I am not in danger the gun stays in the holster.
