I was just in Wisconsin to visit my wife's family and her 8-yr old son last month we got a call today that her Uncle, who I wanted to beat the crap out of when I was up there for molesting my wife when she was a child, was in jail for sexually molesting my 7 year old god child and her 11 year old brother... those people... grrr... I swear to goodness I would gladdly save the the court cost and put a round in his head for the cost of the bullet, or free, whichever....

Be strong for the kids and help them through this any way you can. They must know that it was not their fault.

If your wifes family knew the Uncle had molested her (your wife)....and they did nothing (report it to police).... then they
are just as guilty. The sick ******* that molest children can't be rehabilitated. You can castrate them literally or with drugs....
doesn't help. They feed off the power and control, if they can't molest sexually (perform) they will hurt the child another way.
The only rehabilitation for child sex offenders that works, is death.
The thought of someone abusing a child like this makes me sick to my stomach. I thank God my children were spared this
heartache. I'm not sure I would be able to control myself if I had found out someone had sexually molested one of my kids.

If you have young kids, my advice is keep them away from your wifes family and out of Wisconsin.

The kids need good counseling. Someone who is well trained in dealing with children treated this way. Otherwise, as sick as it sounds, they could become victims even more easily next time or become perpetrators later. 95% of people with screwed up ideas about healthy relationships were victims of abuse like this or similar as children.
For those with larger families, just so you keep an eye out; Older Brothers molest sisters far more often than uncles, etc.
Ugly subject, but sadly, with all the exposure to immoral things these days, we have an epidemic of problems like this going on. Vigilance is needed.

Just remember, we can think that all we want. But in reality, you are no good to your family in prison.

I keep reminding myself of this, since I am currently dealing with a stalker. I have to observe, document, and report. There is no instant gratification in this, but it's the way I have to do things.

This is absolutely imperative. These kids need to learn how to process what happened to them, and that it's not their fault, and that there is nothing physically or mentally "off" about them. It's crucial that the counselor is someone who is very experienced in working with children and adolescents who have been sexually abused.

My wife is a mental health counselor with said experience, but she's not practicing currently. As you can imagine, there is a very high burn-out rate among counselors that specialize in children and adolescents who have been ritualistically and sexually abused. She has shared some scenarios with me that would make you want to quickly relieve society of the offending creeps. Some of the situations just give me chills, they are so evil.

Bottom line, control your feelings, especially in front of the children. The only emotions they need to see from you and other guardians is support, compassion and especially love...never anger. Find a healthy release (away from the children) for your anger toward the perps. Trust me, you and the children will be far better off this way.

Remember that it's reported that 55% of all child molesters get raped during their first two weeks of prison. For the other 45% it just takes longer....
