Well this is a change. My status is now
"No application or license/certificate active."
My "green card" indicates that the Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested was received July 19th
Until today
there was no indication on the web that they had received my packet.

I just checked again and it's back to:

I think I'll quit worrying about my CHL Renewal and go back to trying to solve the problems in the middle east or something else I can actualy fix.

you have miss-typed the wrong info on the pin number screen. Usually, it's your birthdate. Not a biggy. I notice that when i place my birthdate, and go to the next option, It actually will change by one day.
I had a status of "more information required-Letter sent". I called and I was told that the website crashed or something like that. grrrr. But DPS ppl were very Polite everytime I called or emailed. 109 days till I received my "Certificate Active". Good luck
