The 5.11 lets the weapon droop too low in my opinion. Makes a conspicuous bulge under your shirt as it hangs over your beltline. I only carry sub-compacts or my MDE, so that should not be an issue in my mind, but unfortunately it is. I rarely use the 5.11 now.
EDIT: I suppose that I could take it to a good seamstress and have the bottom of the pockets strengthened and the overall depth reduced. That might alleviate the problem. Or, buy a smaller t-shirt size.

I can't comment on the 5.11 tactical vest, but when I took my CHL class one of the instructors had on one of those undershirt holsters, and I would have never known had she not shown us. And that was towards the very end of class when we discussed various holster options. That caught my interest. And I'm considering one.

And it was even hard to make out even AFTER she showed us which amazed me.

The 5.11 we are discussing is also a T-shirt. I suspect that mine is just too big.

Not to be rude, but because I figured the title of this thread explained it.

No no. Not being rude at all. It wasn't clear about the 5.11 product, as they carry many types of clothing on their website, many of them holster related, is all. And the most talked about product on the forum is the tactical vest.

Thanks for the clarification. :thumbs2:

The Kramer is good if you are not overweight and are a thin build. I boughht one and had to reposisition the holster and it will not work with steel frame or large weapons. I have 7 of Greg's other holsters and prefer them.

I imagine since its an undershirt you have to wash it a lot, no matter which one you get. Like the idea of deep cover but still on the fence about getting one.
