Holster Idea

Post by jsimmons »

Take a OWB holster and cover it with denim so that it resembles your jeans. The idea is to camouflage the part of the holster that hangs down below your belt.

We've done that before - a couple of years ago. This is the only pic I have of it though, and in this instance, we were messing around with applying the "maker's mark":

You could use different colors/shades of the denim also.

The grips on the gun are also made from blue denim. ;-)

I've actually seen some OWB holsters positioned to sit inside of the front or back pocket of jeans to aid in concealment. That idea had never crossed my mind before I saw it - sometimes the answer can be simple and straightforward. I'm not saying it would work for everyone, but I can attest that it does work.

If you want an exact match and you wear the same style and brand of jeans all the time. Cut up an old pair to get your denim from it to cover your holster.
