Friendswood: Attempted burglary arrest

Post by seamusTX »

In Friendswood, Friday afternoon, police stopped a suspicious vehicle in the 15400 block of Wandering Trail. Two adults were arrested and charged with attempted burglary. A 16-year-old boy was released to his parents.

The location is just off FM 2351 near Blackhawk Boulevard, less than two miles south of I-45.

The suspects were from Houston.

This is an ongoing pattern in the I-45 corridor south of Houston. Criminals apparently come to the better-off suburbs where they can make a quick exit after committing burglary or robbery.

It makes sense. Criminals are low lifes but they're not all stupid. I remember seeing stats that banks with easy escape, like near the freeway, are robbed more often.
