Congrats Eddie!!! :clapping: :thumbs2: Looks like they are mailing them out, and getting into the hands of the USPS the same day the website rolls over to active license. That's good!

At approximately 7:20am I decided to check my CHL status...and wouldn't you know...

Application Completed - license issued or certificate active

Thanks for the heads-up, Navy Chief. It would be nice to have plastic in hand Monday or Tuesday :mrgreen:

Quick question...do you have to wait for plastic in hand, before you can legally carry? I am sure this has been asked/discussed many times, however, my initial forum search just didn't turn up what I was looking for.

Yes you do have to wait until you physically have the license in hand before you can start carrying.

Back in the summer that was a problem because it was taking up to 3 weeks after approval and activation before the license was received. That's not the case now. I got my license 2 days after it changed to approved. I think CHLady got her plastic 2 days after activation as well.

So your time is short. Congratulations! :thumbs2:
