+1 I got a little 5"x7" spiral-bound notebook with rigid covers at some conference or other a few years ago, and that's what I use: compact and easy to write on. I don't handload, and I don't shoot at great distances very often (no "sniper's" log book), so I never have kept track of ammo or loads. But if for no other reason than to be proactive in changing out springs, I think keeping a reasonably accurate idea of round count is a good idea.CompVest wrote:It is pretty easy for me to keep track. I keep all of my ammo in 50 round boxes so counting how many rounds I shoot is easy. I keep my gun journal in my range bag so keeping the log is easy.
