I'm just curious and have an ulterior motive. I'm starting a website, strictly non-profit, to inform people about primaries. I want to use it to inform people when they are, who is running for each party, how to run, or if not in a party who is running outside. I think we can take back both parties from people who are there just to keep their chair warm and receive government benefits. I know it won't be easy and that some think we need to reach outside the parties, but the voting system is set up to favor the two party system currently.
I really just need some graphics help in creating a logo for the new site. It would be volunteer work. Beyond that, maybe someone to help design images and such for a Joomla template as well. I will also need to find people to help keep it up to date with information from their districts, maybe local blogs and forum moderators as well.
I'm not very experienced at starting anything like this, but I have the domain and hosting paid for out to five years. I believe we have good people that are Democrats and Republicans, we just have to find them to put them in office. I also think this is a more effective way of making your vote count since this occurs to put the person on the ticket for the general election and an incumbent can be removed in this fashion rather than rubber stamped for the general election. Anyone that does help or would like to get involved I expect to the principles values outlined in the 912 project.
If this is the wrong place to ask for help like this, just remove the post.
