In the United Kingdom, no-parking zones are marked by two yellow stripes parallel to the curb. In London, parking illegally gets you an expensive ticket or a more expensive tow -- most of the time.
A man parked his car illegally near #10 Downing Street in London (the prime minister's residence). When he returned to the car, he was met by anti-terrorism police who had used "two controlled explosions" to breach the vehicle. The windows were shattered and the hood and trunk were blown open.
