Its a tough wait, but worth it.

I've been carrying for about 10 years now..and can't imagine not being able to take a weapon with me if I choose.

Hope all goes smoothly for you.

How long did it take for the Return Receipt to get back to you? I sent mine off on the 14th. Hope I get the receipt back either tomorrow or Sat.

ARRRGH,

Well, I thought I was careful to make sure I signed every blank and that all was good.

Wouldn't you know it I forgot to sign page 4 of the application from online.

They said it was mailed out on Friday and I needed to sign it and send it back.

Go figure.

Yeah, I got the form back that I forgot to sign. Signed it and sent it back. The delivery post card came back and the stamp was not readable so I emailed them to confirm that they had received it. They said yes. The website is still not updated though. Probably put me back at the bottom of the list.

Mailed : 8/17/2006
Received : 8/21/2006
Mailed back form I forgot to sign : 9/22/2006
Signed form and returned form : 9/26/2006
Received form I forgot to sign : 10/2/2006
Application Completed - license issued or certificate active : 10/26/2006

Looks like it should make it to me next week.

Website still says that "Application incomplete - detailed letter sent"

Email sent to DPS asking if they received it, answer is yes.

Leason learned, check, recheck, and then recheck the documents to make sure you signed them.
