I know where the lower picture is from, but where is the upper photo from?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

where is the upper photo from
The upper photo is of the American Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan. Let's hope the roof is well built if there is a repeat performance.

There aren't going to be hoards of Afghanis trying to catch the last bird out if we leave Kabul. The very territorial Afghan tribal leaders aren't interested in seizing Kabul, they just want Kabul out of their regions.
