Hoster Breakin

Post by rlowe »

I have a new Bullard Dual Carry and belt. The thing is damn well built. I am however having some discomfort where the leather backing just in front of the barel of the gun is rubbing, digging in. I get some relief if I push the butt of the gun in to my side. I am a tall guy and relatively thin with a straight build. I am using the leather belt loops on the last hole (holding the gun as high on the belt as it will go. I have been wearing for an hour or so in the evenings trying to get it broke in. Still waiting on my CHL so cant really wear much more than that at this point.

I am sure it is just a matter of break in, but curious if there is some procedure that I can do to expedite the break in. Other than that it is great. Conceals well even in OWB config if I am wearing a longer shirt.

Eventually that part where it rubs will scab over and you won't feel a thing.
