It is a bar. That is a no-no, regardless of where it is located.

Not necessarily. You would have to see if the license is set as 51%. If the bar is owned by another company other than the hotel, then it may be, but if the hotel as a whole has it, then it may not be listed as 51%. You would need to check their license to see if it says 'Sign = blue' (OK to carry) or 'Sign = red' (51% and not OK.) Also, they should be posting a 51% sign if they are truly 51%. Many hotel bars are connected with their restaurant, so they may not make 51% of their profit from alcohol.

Safe bet is to not carry in there until you can look at their license.

That is only a defense to prosecution. You can still be arrested for carrying in a 51% establishment, but if they didn't have a 51% sign, then you can use it in your defense.

And i will guarantee you that any hotel will never get 51% profit from sale of alcohol.

That's one line of defense but the primary defense is concealed = concealed.

Some hotels contain bars that are separate businesses. Those businesses MAY be 51%ers.

Yeah, they make most of their money off selling peanuts from the mini-bar. :biggrinjester:
