Does anybody know if the wortham theater center in houston is posted 3006? Taking the wife to the ballet for our anniversary today, and i want to be safe from all those tight wearers.

Operation annivesary is now over. Went pretty well , and i got to carry the entire time. No 3006 posted, Had to dress up so i couldnt wear my normal rig.(pants to tight) but i slipped my snubbie in my pocket, and off we went .

Sorry to bring this thread back on-topic, but my beautiful wife had an interesting situation at the Wortham Center over the past few days.
She was there as a vendor during a visiting fashion show this week (http://www.houstonfirsttheaters.com/Wor ... fault.aspx), and they had a tent set up indoors (related to the show - selling alcoholic drinks) with a 51% sign posted. Because it was the only place to buy coffee or other non-alcoholic drinks, she knew she'd have to enter the tent on occasion; so she went back to the car and disarmed (just to be safe), and attended the show for the next two days.
So...if a temporary place sets up a shop for a few days inside another place that's not posted - how legal is that sign? It's not like we can go to the TABC website and check them out - it's a transient business by definition!
Any thoughts?

If the tent is posted 51% don't enter the tent with said firearm... If another tent is posted 30.06 don't enter that tent with said firearm... Because at that point in time they are leasing that property within the marked space and have legal rights to post said property. If you have doubt to the validity of the 51% sign the status should be marked on their temporary/event license and it should be displayed at or near the serving area.
Chl class for me and wife=$225. Chl application fees =$280. Chl gear for 2=more $ the previous. Moving from sheep to sheepdog = priceless

At the venue referenced in this post, a 30.06 posted at one of the tents would not be enforceable. Leasing tent space doesn't give them a right to post government owned property.
