Water Testing?

Anyone know a good place to get my tap water tested? Its tasting really salty. Figure one of you guys might know.

Is it "city water" or well water? City water should be able to be tested by the lab at the water treatment plant. Well water at your county health department.

Do you have a water softener? That could be the source.

For around $25 You can buy a test kit called FirstAlert or WaterSafe. They are sold at Target and Sears. If you have real safety concerns, I would go with Mojo's suggestion just to make sure it is healthy to drink.

Well, its tap water from the city, but seems to be prevelant with hot water. I do have a hot water heater less than a year old.
