This is not really true. This is only factual in the Chicago area. In rural areas of Illinois there are lots of gun owners and hunters. Southern Illinois has some very heavy goose, duck and deer hunting areas. There are also lots of pistol owners.

I went 2-6 grade in Metropolis, IL (look it up) and 7-11 in Harrisburg, IL. You can't get any further south in Il and still be in IL than Metropolis. What Keith said has truth in it; HOWEVER: most of Illinois' electrorate is way north in the metroplex made famous by Al Capone, Richard Daly, Barack Obama,et al. That, unfortunately, is one of the miscarriages of justice that sometimes happens in a republic.

Well, maybe not "beat up", but er,...otherwise welcomed (several times) to the place where people go who do bad things to other people.

Yep.

All 5 of these detainees were in fact in the middle of trials when the new administration began. One of the first actions President Obama was to order the trials to stop, and to issue instructions that the Guantanamo Facility be closed for detainees, his stated timetable was 12 months. All of the trials were vacated and now must be activated again from the start. This in-spite of 3 or 4 having plead guilty and requesting execution. As my grandfather used to say "Only in America"!

Sounds like almost every prisoner they let return to the Middle East has picked up weapons again,Sounds about right,if somebody tried to invade the US and I was captured as soon as they let me go I would be looking to return to the fight
