Public Library?

I for get Public Librarys okay to carry? I wonder because there always seems to be a school field trip to one.

Depends who owns it and what signs are posted.

Presumably "public" means owned by the government. Apparently, there are a few private libraries out there, but I'm pretty sure it's not common. My local library is owned and funded by the Town. Therefore, regardless of the signs they post, CHL can legally carry there.

If a school sponsored event is taking place, I've heard the argument that, if you're not part of the event, your not barred from carry... I can't imagine they are all that common, especially outside of school hours. Your mileage may vary.
