Congrats to your mom. That's awesome. Wish my parents would join the CHL bandwagon.
As always, Crossbreed would be my first stop when looking for an IWB holster. SuperTuck or perhaps the newer, smaller MiniTuck. CT laser grip on a J-frame shouldn't affect the fit of a IWB holster much, because the laser mechanism is all in the upper grip and retention in IWB holsters is usually attained with pressure on the main body of holster/gun from your belt. Thus no need to worry about fitting a retention strap over the grip or anything like you'd have with an OWB.
Check with the owner of Crossbreed - he's always responded to my emails in 24 hours or less (
info@crossbreedholsters.com) - but I'm sure one of those two would work well.
If you your mom doesn't like the double-strut design of Crossbreed for some reason or doesn't want to wait 30 days, High Noon holsters keeps a lot of their cowhide IWB holsters in stock and ready to ship. I have a few of their "Split Decision" cowhide holsters with 15% forward cant and tuckable belt clip. Not as comfortable to wear IMHO as Crossbreed, but a good holster you can acquire quickly. I have one for my J-frame for times when I don't pocket carry it. I also keep one around for Baby Glock/Walther PPS (yes, they can share some holsters) as a backup in case I break a clip or something on my Crossbreed and end up having to wait a few days for new clip to arrive via CB's warranty service.

Lastly, don't forget a good quality gun belt. 5.11 Tactical Leather stitched belts are on sale a lot of places, and there are a few guys selling them on eBay for about $15 each. I just got one of the last ones from lapolicegear.com and am impressed at the strength/rigidity of this belt for such a low price. It's easily as strong and rigid as my $100 Beltman bullhide belt, but not nearly as nice looking.
