Thanks River Rat

Post by MoJo »

The holster I ordered from River Rat for my wife's M&P 9 JG arrived today. To say I am happy is an understatement. Cotton's attention to detail and quality of workmanship are as good as the best and better than most. He produced a beautiful pink holster lightly tooled complete with a breast cancer ribbon and a survivor pin. I bought the JG for my wife because she is a breast cancer survivor and this holster just makes a complete package.

Cotton was very enthusiastic about doing this project and the communication between he and I was very easy. The give and take between us was like we had known each other for a long time. If you want or need a custom holster give him a shout you won't be disappointed.

That is gorgeous!! Your wife must be tickled....well...pink.

You are so right about Cotton. He and I have exchanged a few emails about a purple holster and this may sound extremely corny, but he just "got me" (and that's really no easy feat!). The protypes he made were perfect. So whenever he's ready and we start working on the final product, I'm confident that it will be great!

That is really cool. Showed the photos to my wife who is very anti-gun (but tolerates me anyway Image) and even she thought it was cool.

Really nice job both of you.

I got it for Valentine's but, I want her to have it so badly I may give it to her in the morning.

I couldn't wait till tomorrow - - - she's tickled - - - "pink."

That is really nice. I just showed it to my wife, who has never shot a gun (that's changing soon) and I think I'm going to have to buy a pink gun and call RiverRat.

Thanks for the kind words, MoJo. :cheers2: both my ex-wife and sister-in-law were BC survivors, too.

It looks like we might see sun here tomorrow for the first time in four days. Might be A Good Day to go to the range, hint, hint. :fire

I want to know how the 3/4" offset off the belt and the 2.5" extra drop works out for her.....and wears compared to her other girl holsters.
:smash: It got the Mrs. RiverRat seal of approval before I shipped it. :thumbs2: By the way, YOU got the Mrs. RiverRat seal of approval too, for thought behind the gift. I think eight days early is close enough she won't forget you gave a gift early (might cost you another box of chocolate next Sunday).

Now that is cool. I have been swapping e-mails with him now for a few weeks for a full package for me as well. I like to bounce what I want to him and he comes back to get it right. He has much better artist thoughts than I do. I put in an order for my wife on a belt yesterday. Have to show her this newest holster as I think she will like it. Can't wait to finish getting my thought done for my rig and have him start.

yes, Sun came out here today and actually got to play a few hours of tennis. Darn it felt good. Want to go to the range but suspect it is still floode pretty good so will skip it. Come on SUMMER!!!

Yeah, the first day in a week the weather is pretty and my gout flared up and Mrs. MoJo's sinuses go on a revolt. I can't walk (well I can but it hurts like the dickens) and she can't breathe. No :fire today :grumble .

This is one time where I could get behind open carry. It is sure a shame that it will need to be concealed to be used off the range or away from home!
