Perennial NRA/TSRA Basher Indicted

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

San Marcos attorney Paul Velte, IV has an email list he calls "Peaceable Texans for Firearms Rights." He routinely blasts both the NRA and TSRA, most recently complaining about alleged inaction by both organizations related to the Austin gun show issue. As usual, he was wrong.

I found this article in the San Marcos Daily Record.

Comparing the charges and the bonds posted in this instance to the statement on a rented DVD that there is the possibility of a 5 year jail term and a $250,000 fine for copying the DVD gives pause to wonder.

Boy howdy, copying a rented DVD is serious business!

I am amazed this guy has been arrested twice in the last year on similar charges, and was allowed to go free and continue what he was doing!
