I looooove girl scout cookies....(just happy)

Post by gigag04 »

A guy at work was selling them for his kid's group. I bought 5 boxes. Peanut Butter patties are pretty much the bomb, but I have two boxes of thin mints in the freezer now.

I think I'm going to re-gift them to my gf though because I'll eat them if I keep them. And I can chalk it up as valentines day present since I just got off work at 6 am this morning and couldn't shop last night.

I was working in Saudi Arabia about 15 years ago, came home on vacationa nd one of my daughters' was selling Girl Scout cookies. I bought 100 boxes of Thin Mints and took them back with me. Customs Inspector's eye went a bit wide  , but it wasn't alcohol or drugs or bibles, so he let it pass.

Put a bunch in the freezer and had Thin Mints whenever I wanted. Had a guy offer me $100 for a box. Said "no". Heeck, I didn't even offer to share them greedy SOB that I am. :smilelol5:

I really don't care for any of the flavors they sell. They're okay but just not what I crave. Wish they would sell a chocolate chip cookie.

I'd make up a sign like that and post, however I've noticed (at least around here) that they don't go door-to-door anymore. I can only find them in front of grocery stores or Wally World.

With the number of registered offenders out there would you want your 10 year old selling anything door to door. Much easier and safer for a group of parents and kids to set up at the local big box. Plus during season I can eat a box on the way home and tell the wife no I only bought the 2 boxes of Thin Mints for the freezer( as I wipe the Samoa crumbs from my 'stache) :evil2:
