DART and TRE (Trinity Railway Express)

Post by court1 »

I am taking my fiance on a train trip over to Fort Worth from Dallas. Because we are going at night and I will be taking the Dart to the TRE, I'm probably going to carry. I called the TRE and asked whether I could carry with a CHL on the train. The woman I talked to was nice but had no idea. Does anyone know what the TRE and Dart policy is towards carrying?

Thanks,
Court

My understanding is there's no prohibition on carrying.

First off, welcome to the forum. :tiphat:

Secondly, there is no way I wouldn't carry on DART or the TRE late at night! (Yes, it is legal to carry with your CHL on them.) :thumbs2:

Thanks and I'm glad to be here. I'm thinking of trying to go a little earlier so we're not coming back too late. It's unfortunate that the TRE's reputation is so dangerous. Just out of curiosity, can you recommend a good inside the belt back holster for an H&K USP compact?

Welcome to the Forum. You are legally able to carry on Dart and TRE.
