The Cell Pal looks interesting to me. It is mostly because I already wear my cell phone on my belt at 10:00 position, and I'm very used to it being there. I do not find it uncomfortable there, and the seatbelt is a non-issue for me when driving or as a passenger, since I am so used to the phone being in that location.
However, there seems to be quite a few negative reviews of the Cell Pal holster. I have seen a few positive reviews on occasion, but many more negative ones. Most of the negative reviews deal with two issues: the holster makes it look like you have a lot in your pocket (this has been phrased in more vulgar terms, referring not to the pocket area), and that the holster can make for some slow or awkward draws.
I've had no experience with the Cell Pal, other than seeing it in videos. I've never even seen one in person.
Are they really that bad? Would a Glock 23 even be feasible with this holster? Can practice overcome the slow/awkward draw issue?
I plan to order a Crossbreed Supertuck when my plastic arrives, but I thought I might get a Cell Pal as well, for times that the Supertuck might not match the wardrobe. Is the Cell Pal even worth bothering with?

Re: Glock 23 in a Cell Pal?
In my current search for holsters, I too ran across cell pal, but like you, found too many negative comments which seemed legitimate. A poster on another forum summarized his experience something like "a great concept that doesn't fully work in reality".
I've been looking at SmartCarry and imitations as well as belly band for my G26 for this type of carry. SmartCarry gets great reviews but looks a bit awkward to me.

I tried one. To me it was like wearing a dinner plate in your pants. VERY uncomfortable.
